So Radialpoint is gone now and McAfee is in its place. Also have Yahoo! Messenger installed now, but I still need to setup some things. I like the old programs - it's a pity that they have to change things so often.

I no longer install any chat programs. I use a web based program, that allows me to use all my IM programs at once. It is called MEEBO. IT works very well and supports , yahoo, msn, aol, facebook, myspace, and others too all through its interface. All i do is sign into meebo and it signs into all my other chat programs at once.

Mcafee is ok. I prefer trend micro now though, after experienceing mcaffee at ups and Trend at USC.

You've mentioned MEEBO before. Let me just get the IM program setup again.

McAfee in an older version was horrible as a demo on a computer that I helped build. Hopefully it has improved.

Machine is back up. GPU was okay. It was a Vista problem. I could not pinpoint the problem even after using Event Viewer in safe mode. Even getting to safe mode, took some time.

Verified both my old CRT monitor and LCD worked in Expressgate. Vista had some sort of problem accessing PnP device drivers after sleep recovery, I guess.

Hopefully the problem is gone. MB used the computer less than 30 minutes before I had problems. Still planning on building another AMD-based HTPC machine in the next few months.

I need to do some cleaning and updating on this computer anyways. I will be using IM again when I get around to setting the account up correctly. Also I bought a refurbished webcam that I want to try out.

Going to update my video drivers and get SmartDoctor and GamerOSD working properly.

I really need some anti-spyware software. Going to get AdAware as I liked it on the old machine.

Yahoo Messenger pretty much sucks.

Again had hibernation issues with Vista. This time my machine was done for almost 2 weeks. It was not bad RAM, CPU, or mobo.

Sounds like its time to upgrade to windows 7.

XP isn't broke either, I'm still using it.

Yeah I might upgrade to Windows 7. Adding a GPU for Crossfire and want to get an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Yes, bought another ASUS 4870 card to use Crossfire. I'll install it in a bit.
